Commission - Barbourmeade Ky

The City of Barbourmeade operates under a Mayor/Commission form of government. The Mayor presides over all meetings and votes in all proceedings. Each commissioner is responsible for individual departments or services offered by the city. Additional officials appointed by the commission include, Clerk, Attorney, Treasurer and Engineer. The City Commission meets the third Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of Springdale Presbyterian Church, located at 7812 Brownsboro Road. Monthly Commission meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. The City also has a Board of Ethics which duties include receiving advisory opinions.
