The City Of Barbourmeade

Barbourmeade is located off of Brownsboro Road and Barbour Lane near Louisville, Kentucky. The Barbourmeade subdivision was developed over 50 years ago as residents of Louisville continued to grow eastward into the beautiful Kentucky bluegrass. Barbourmeade is one of a kind with a wide-variety of classic styles, traditional, colonial, ranch, bi-level, tri-level, and cape cod homes, each bringing unique characteristics to the city.

We are a second class city located in beautiful northeastern Jefferson County, Kentucky. Barbourmeade has approximately 519 homes and was established in 1962. Please visit our Commission page to learn more about our City.

Beautification

The Commission would like to encourage residents to consider replacing trees lost to storm damage or disease. Greenscapes is offering a tree replacement program which includes a selection of 5 different trees which will do well in this area.
